Indian Idol 12: Veteran Actors Dharmendra And Asha Parekh Once Again Recreate ‘Kuchh Kehta Hai Ye Saawan’ Song; Reliving The Good Old Days
The next episode of Indian 12 is going to be all nostalgia, it seems as yesteryear stars and one of the most loved on-screen couples, Dharmendra and Asha Parekh will be gracing the singing reality show one more time. The duo had earlier graced Indian Idol 11 as guests and once again, the two have come presumably for Valentine’s Day special where they took everyone down the memory lane. Just some time back, the channel’s official Twitter handle released a cute promo of the couple where they are seen reliving the good old days as they recreate ‘Kuchh Kehta Hai Ye Saawan’ song from their film, ‘Mera Gaon Mera Desh’.

In the video, Dharmendra first recites a romantic poem for Asha Parekh who is completely smitten by it. Furthermore, Dharmendra and Asha who are sitting on the swing are lip-syncing Kuchh Kehta Hai Ye Saawan and this makes everyone go all ‘aww', even the judging panel of the show which consists of names like Vishal Dadlani, Neha Kakkar, and Himesh Reshammiya can be seen getting all mushy. Earlier, when they came on the sets of Indian Idol 11, the Sholay actor shared a video on his Instagram, recreating the same. Instagramming it, Dharmendra wrote a short caption, which included the hook lines of the song Kuchh Kehta Hai Ye Saawan, sung by Lata Mangeshkar and Mohammed Rafi.

Dharmendra and Ahsa Parekh have worked on a handful of movies around the 70s' and the 80s’ which includes Aap Aaye Bahar Aaye, Aaya Sawan Jhoom Ke, Shikar, and Samadhi, among many others. Their last collaboration was Hathyar, which released in 1989.
